REVIEW: Touch Your Heart / Reach Of Sincerity (2019)

Touch Your Heart is all things sweet and delightful! The Goblin (2017) pair of Lee Dong Wook and Yoo In Na won everyone’s heart in that drama and it is no surprise that their second outing was highly anticipated. The drama fulfils all our wishes by giving us a memorable couple with lots and lots of feel-good romance, in contrast to the bittersweet nature in Goblin. Continue reading

REVIEW: The King: Eternal Monarch (2020)

The King: Eternal Monarch is a classic case where the combination of hottest stars, magnificent sets, production quality, intriguing premise and top writer doesn’t result in a satisfying ride. One of the most anticipated dramas of the year, it fails big time in terms of writing and execution. Of course, there are some good bits and pieces but that doesn’t outweigh the numerous shortcomings.

REVIEW: Forest Of Secrets / Stranger (2017)

It’s been 3 years since critically acclaimed as well as popular thriller Forest Of Secrets (also known as Stranger) aired but I only got a chance to catch up with it recently and wow, mind officially blown by its brilliance. Story, characters, subject, acting — everything is top notch. It’s a good thing I just finished this series as I wonder how I would have waited for three years for the second season, arriving this August.
