Now this is surely a great casting! Two of the hottest stars in Korean movies as well as TV dramas, Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin are pairing up for upcoming tvN romantic drama Love’s Emergency Landing (also, Crash Landing of Love). The show is written by writer Park Ji Eun of shows You From Another Star, Legend Of The Blue Sea, The Producers and You Who Rolled In Unexpectedly. Another reason to be happy as a clam for this drama.

Love’s Emergency Landing stars Hyun Bin as a North Korean officer and Son Ye Jin as a rich South Korean heiress who lands in the North while paragliding. Thus the two fall in love as the former helps the latter in hiding and safely returning to her homeland. The last I saw the North-South romance was in one of my favorites, The King 2 Hearts in 2012. The drama also stars Kim Jung Hyun as a mysterious businessman and Seo Ji Hye as an aspiring musician. Hyun Bin last appeared in fantasy Memories Of The Alhambra while Son Ye Jin was in romance melo Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food. I’m hoping for a great chemistry as well as characters this time. Kim Jung Hyun was last in news when he had to drop out of his show Time due to health issues. Seo Ji Hye was last seen in relatively less buzzed medical drama Heart Surgeons.

Love’s Emergency Landing recently held its script reading and I can spot lots of awesome supporting actors here. The show is directed by the PD of Romance Is A Bonus Book and Life On Mars among others. It plans for a premiere date sometime in late 2019.
