MBC is bringing a new thriller drama titled The Veil starring Nam Goong Min and Park Ha Sun in the lead roles. It premieres on September 17 in the slot of Friday-Saturday.
Nam Goong Min stars as a top National Intelligence Service agent who is known for his efficient skills. One day he suddenly vanishes. He returns after a year, during which he was assumed missing and lost his memories, to find out the truth behind his disappearance and find the traitor who was responsible for that. Nam Goong Min has been giving one amazing performance after another, with shows like Chief Kim, Hot Stove League and Awaken, not to mention each drama is widely different from the other.
Park Ha Sun plays the team leader at the Crime Information Center at NIS. The actress has taken on action thriller dramas previously, like Two Weeks and 3 Days. I love her a lot (not a fan of her hairdo here though) and I’m excited to see her. She last starred in TV drama Birthcare Center. The Veil also stars Kim Ji Eun (Strangers from Hell) as another highly regarded agent in the NIS.
The Veil has a total of 12 episodes (a plus!) and also stars one of my favourite supporting actresses, Jang Young Nam (Hundred Million Stars From the Sky, It’s Okay To Not Be Okay).
