I’m looking forward to upcoming fantasy romance on tvN titled My Lovely Liar. It is premiering on July 31 in the Monday-Tuesday slot of the network following Delightfully Deceitful.

The drama is about a woman with a special ability to detect lies and a famous music composer who goes into hiding due to an incident and moves next door to her. Kim So Hyun (The Tale of Nokdu) and Hwang Minhyun (Alchemy Of Souls) play the two leads. I have liked their work in previous dramas and they are so gorgeous too — so I’m excited for this pairing!

The rest of the cast includes Seo Ji Hoon (Seasons Of Blossom) as a detective who is our heroine’s first love and Lee Si Woo (Shooting Stars) as a top solo artist who is in love with the hero.

My Lovely Liar is mixing supernatural abilities trope with neighbors-to-lovers trope. Appealing for sure! The writer was attached to writing of 2021 drama Let Me Be Your Knight.
