We all enjoy our romance tropes, cliches and ‘only in movies/ TV shows’ romantic moments but I really like the ones which are realistic and slice-of-life. KBS is bringing a new show called Another Love But You, also titled Another Romance Besides You. It is touted as a realistic romance drama about a long-term couple. Seo Kang Joon (Undercover High School) and Ahn Eun Jin (Dynamite Kiss) have been confirmed as the leads.

The drama is about two people approaching their tenth year together, who begin to face unexpected emotional shifts in a relationship that once felt comfortable and certain. As their initial passion fades, they rely on loyalty and trust to hold things together while grappling with the choice between break-up and marriage, ultimately redefining what love really means. Seo Kang Joon plays an assistant manager at a confectionery firm. He has a warm personality but has faced difficult times since childhood due to his troublemaking mother. Ahn Eun Jin plays a film director who once received accolades and global attention due to her university graduation work but her subsequent movies did not gain success and presently she is at her lowest. Both of the characters have been together and supported each other through their highs and lows. Despite having supported each other through their toughest moments over the years, that same deep familiarity begins to unsettle their relationship, and that is where the drama starts.

Another Romance Besides You will premiere in the second half of 2026. I like the premise and I like the leads. Definitely looking forward to this!
