Love Next Door had all the ingredients of a perfect rom-com drama — popular and talented lead actors, friends-to-lovers trope, two sets of OTP, a slice-of-life vibe, the writer of Hometown Cha Cha Cha. Alas, the drama fails to give us a delicious dish. I have already mentioned in the blog that I was waiting for Korean drama Love Next Door with lots of excitement! The show has arrived now and the first two episodes might not be perfect but the main couple is definitely on its way to become one of my favorites. I simply LOVE the trope of “friends to lovers” and Love Next Door delivered all the right feels of the trope. The natural chemistry between Jung Hae In and Jung So Min makes the show such a treat! This is one of those Korean drama news that makes me feel like the cat that got the cream. One of my favorite actresses, Jung So Min (Alchemy Of Souls) and Jung Hae In (Snowdrop), an actor I really like, have confirmed to star together in a romantic comedy drama.
