If you’ve read my posts for Marriage Not Dating, you must be knowing that I have a huge crush on Yeon Woo Jin. Right from the first frame when I saw him in that title track of the drama, I fell head over heels in love. Ha. And now I’m on cloud nine as he has been confirmed for upcoming rom-com weekender Divorce Lawyer In Love. The show is slated to follow The Family Is Coming and is likely to start airing in March. Jo Yeo Jung has been signed as his leading lady.

Divorce Lawyer In Love looks right up my alley as far as funny, cute, bickering rom-coms go. The heroine is a divorce attorney while hero is her office manager. She is someone who treats everyone like trash. He’s not softy either and their constant arguments leave him to quit this job. Years later, tables are turned as he has now become a divorce lawyer himself by passing examination and she becomes his office manager after her license gets suspended after some misconduct. So now it will be his turn to show off his bossiness. I think there is lots of potential for love-hate relationship and although I haven’t seen any of Jo Yeo Jung’s dramas, Yeon Woo Jin is enough to make me super excited for this show and I can totally imagine him nailing the role of a guy who takes petty revenge. Jo Yeo Jung was last seen in 2012’s Haeundae Lovers. Wang Ji Won has also joined the cast and plays another lawyer and hero’s ex-girlfriend, which is such a meh role and I think she has that talent to do better if she gets the right roles.

Divorce Lawyer In Love is helmed by the second PD of 49 Days and written by a new screenwriter. It will air on SBS. I guess this will be one of the shorter weekend dramas.
