Why isn’t this a full length drama? The brilliant writer of shows like I Hear Your Voice, Dream High and Pinocchio is bringing a 3 episode drama special for KBS called Page Turner and it stars talented young actors Kim So Hyun, Ji Soo and Shin Jae Ha (Sassy Go, Go). The story revolves around music, piano, to be exact. Kim So Hyun stars as a talented pianist, with Shin Jae Ha playing her rival. Ji Soo is an athlete and the lives of these people change after an accident between Kim So Hyun’s and Ji Soo’s characters. Now Ji Soo wants to play piano, which becomes his second dream. This will be a coming-of-age story which will be laced with music and romance.
I love this writer and how she constructs stories that have everything — emotions, heart, romance, humour, thrill — and life lessons and ideals that surround them. I have seen Kim So Hyun only in I Hear Your Voice where she played teenage counterpart to Lee Bo Young‘s heroine. I haven’t seen Ji Soo in anything but I saw so much of Angry Mom everywhere that I couldn’t help falling for his charms. The casting couldn’t have been better.
Page Turner will air its 3 episodes weekly as the time slot is Saturdays. It premieres on March 26.

You would think. Although not a huge drama, I’m surprised I haven’t seen a good place with subs for Mrs. Cop 2. With the cast, I thought for sure that one of the big guys would pick it up. With only 3 episodes, this will hopefully have a good shot though.
Really? I thought it would have been subbed. I’m waiting for Pied Piper subs but it’s two weeks and there is no sign of it 😦
