I really liked Song Chang Ui in the role of a music teacher in You’ve Fallen For Me. His latest project is a daily drama where he will be playing a double role. The show is titled The Secret Of My Love (also, My Man’s Secret) and is about a man who wears metaphorical mask but wants to remove it in order to live a real life, and a woman who abandons her brother to find happiness. Well, the short synopsis does sound a bit odd and doesn’t convey any proper meaning. Anyway, Song Chang Ui plays two roles — one of an upright man and the other of a wealthy man from a rich family. The leading lady is Go Na Eun (Goddess Of Marriage, Heartless City) who plays a friendly, helpful and optimistic woman. Rounding out the cast as second leads are Kim Da Hyun (I Summon You, Gold!, Warrior Baek Dong Soo) as the hero’s (rich one) meticulous step-brother and Park Jung Ah (Glamorous Temptation) as a doctor with some backstory.

The Secret Of My Love is anchored by the PD of daily drama You’re The Only One and weekender King’s Family. It’s scripted by a team of two writers whose filmography includes dramas like daily Heaven’s Promise (2016) and Tears Of Heaven (2014). It starts tomorrow and will air from Monday to Friday with the total number of episodes around 100. The plot sounds like it will have heavy dose of makjang aka lots of over-the-top/ unrealistic/ outrageous situations. But definitely addictive!
