Awww. New film On Your Wedding Day (or Your Wedding) looks as sweet as a vial of rose oil. It stars Park Bo Young and Kim Young Kwang in the lead roles, and they look uber cute together, especially due to their height difference which further makes the pair more adorable. It is a typical romance plot depicting the friendship and love between two persons over a period of ten years, beginning from their high school days, college, jobs and adulthood. Park Bo Young (Strong Woman Do Bong Soon) plays a girl who believes in love at first sight while Kim Young Kwang (Lookout, Plus Nine Boys) plays a character that secretly likes her. The two actors are actually reuniting in this movie as they previously starred together in 2014 film Hot Blooded Youth which also starred Lee Jong Suk. The movie costars Song Jae Rim (Our Gab soon, Two Weeks), Shin So Yool (Answer Me 1997) and Kang Ki Young (What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim).

Park Bo Young has just confirmed drama return with Abyss but we will have to wait till 2019 for its premiere. Meanwhile Kim Young Kwang will be next seen in drama Room No. 9. On Your Wedding Day is releasing this week on the 22nd of August and is directed by Lee Seok Geun who has previously co-written films like The Bros and The Outlaws. Romance films, as I’ve always said, usually offer stories already done countless times. What make them endearing are the chemistry, fresh treatment or sometimes the comfort of familiarity. And yes, sometimes it’s all about the heart.
