This week marks the premieres of two highly anticipated dramas of 2018. The year is ending in few days and I guess these two shows will probably be included in next year’s lists. Boyfriend (also, Encounter) arrived on Wednesday and now Memories Of The Alhambra is starting today with Hyun Bin and Park Shin Hye. It’s interesting to note that both the shows are being aired on cable network tvN. That definitely signifies how strong the network has become.

Memories Of The Alhambra is a fantasy coming from writer Song Jae Jung who has given many acclaimed dramas of the genre like Queen In Hyun’s Man, Nine, W and swashbuckling sageuk The Three Musketeers. And that helps in strengthening the hope that this drama will also be a thrilling and satisfying ride, capturing the fantasy element efficiently. It will also air on Netflix. The story takes Hyun Bin’s CEO character to Spain where he is in search of a gamer and meets Park Shin Hye’s character who runs a hostel there.

The drama is helmed by the PD of Forest Of Secrets and Mrs. Cop. It is following another fantasy Room No. 9 in the Saturday-Sunday slot.
