New year, new premieres! The second season of KBS hit Neighbourhood Lawyer Jo Deul Ho is arriving on January 7 and Park Shin Yang is reprising his titular role of the show that aired its first season in 2016. Kang So Ra is not appearing in this instalment. But we have another terrific actress to costar here, Go Hyun Jung. She was last seen in drama Return before her sudden departure from the show after few episodes. Anyway, Neighbourhood Lawyer Jo Deul Ho 2 is all set for its premiere this coming Monday.

Park Shin yang plays Jo Deul Ho, who we first saw as a prosecutor-turned-lawyer who believes in justice and protecting the innocent. This season is about his license getting revoked after a huge law firm falsely accuses him for some charge. Go Hyun Jung plays a mysterious woman who is hiding her past. The drama was originally based on a webtoon and this time, it is helmed by the PD of The Equator Man and The Black Knight. It is penned by the writer of All In, IRIS and Triangle.

I didn’t watch the first season, hence, I don’t feel any excitement for this new season. But it was lauded by many, and thus, buzz is pretty high for this one.
