Many school dramas have graced our screens but the newly premiered tvN show Black Dog brings spotlight on teachers rather than the students. I also love that two female actors are leading the cast here. Seo Hyun Jin (The Beauty Inside) plays a short term teacher who aspires to achieve success despite the harsh school system full of competition. Ra Mi Ran (Answer Me 1988) stars as a workaholic head of the career counseling department. Also starring is Ha Joon (Arthdal Chronicles) as a popular teacher specialising in Korean language and Lee Chang Hoon (I’m Sorry Kang Nam Goo) as a career counselor.

The posters look quite sunny but I think the drama will be showing the stark reality, being bittersweet in tone. It just premiered today as a Monday-Tuesday drama following Catch The Ghost.
