I’m super excited for new tvN drama Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha that is also arriving on Netflix. It stars two of my favourites — Kim Seon Ho and Shin Min Ah. The show has a picturesque village at its center so definitely another eye candy for us!

Shin Min Ah (My Girlfriend Is A Gumiho) plays a dentist who relocates to the seaside village of Gongjin and Kim Seon Ho (Start-Up) plays a jack-of-all-trades man in the village, who helps everyone by doing odd jobs. Lee Sang Yi (When the Camellia Blooms) rounds out the cast as a top variety show PD who also arrives to this place. The drama is based on a 2004 movie titled Mr. Hong that starred Kim Joo Hyuk and Uhm Jung Hwa. It’s written by the writer of acclaimed 2019 sageuk The Crowned Clown.

I’m loving the summery and feel-good vibe of Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha through its posters and promo. The leads look beautiful! Can’t wait for the dimples galore! The show premiers on August 28 in the weekend slot.
