Oh I love this! Song Kang Ho, who is one of the best and most prominent actors of Korean film industry, has confirmed his first TV drama ever in 32 years of his acting career. The actor is known for acclaimed movies like Memories of Murder, Parasite, Shiri, Thirst, Sympathy For Lady Vengeance and many more. He will be appearing in drama Uncle Sam Sik, which is written and directed by Shin Yeon Sik, who is directing the actor in two upcoming movies — One Win and Cobweb. The director has penned and directed movies like The Russian Novel and Rough Play.

Uncle Sam Sik stars Song Kang Ho as titular Sam Sik and the show would be about the friendship between him and Kim San who struggled through the period of early 1960’s. The drama will have a total of 10 episodes and its broadcast network and schedule is yet to be announced.
