tvN is premiering a new mystery thriller called Blind today, which is set around the people related to law, justice and society. Its plot is about the ordinary people who become victims, the perpetrators who responsible for the crime against them and the people who close their eyes to the injustice.
Kpop group 2PM‘s Taecyeon (Vincenzo, Dream High) plays a skilled violent crimes detective, Ha Suk Jin (One Percent Of Anything) plays his older brother and a righteous judge and Apink‘s Jung Eun Ji (Reply 1997) plays a social worker. All three get involved in a serial murder case.
Blind is penned by the writer of 2017’s Andante that starred EXO‘s Kai. The drama will air on Fridays and Saturdays. It is helmed by the director of Tunnel and Cross. Presently I’m not too keen to check this drama out but I like the cast and the show has potential to be good. So it’s all up in the air as of now if I’ll be watching it.
Serial killer storyline again… Nah, I doubt I’ll bother.
I’m so tired of Korean thrillers using the same trope again and again 😦
