Longing For You is an upcoming drama on ENA, a mystery thriller about a detective who discovers hidden family secrets while working on a case. The title of the drama sounds more like romance than thriller. Na In Woo (Mr. Queen, Jinxed at First) plays the aforementioned detective, who is trying to prove innocence of his younger brother, played by Kpop group NU’EST‘s Ren, in a murder case.

I have not seen Kim Ji Eun yet in any project but she has been consistently working in popular dramas like The Veil, Again My Life and One Dollar Lawyer. She stars as a prosecutor who believes in using any means to achieve justice.

Kwon Yool (Mental Coach Jegal) plays an elite detective and main lead’s rival in love when the latter joins the Special Investigation team. Lee Kyu Han (She Would Never Know) plays his friend and the correspondent for the Prosecutor’s Office and Bae Jong Ok (Mr. Queen) stars as his mother who is director at a hospital.

Longing For You is penned by the writer of shows like Graceful Family (2019) and The Blade And Petal. (2013). It starts on July 26 in the slot of Wednesdays and Thursdays. I’m mildly interested in the drama. The plot has potential but I’m not sure if I’m in the mood for more prosecutor dramas right now.

On a funny note, I first thought Lee Kyu Han’s character has long hair but then I realized his picture has been pasted on Bae Jong Ok’s hair 😂
