I’m currently watching (and loving) Korean drama Moving. I’m little bit late for the train but now I understand why it was loved across the globe. The writer of the drama is now adapting another webtoon of his, titled Light Shop. It is about a shop that’s visited by humans and ghosts.
Like Moving, the new drama will feature a plethora of stars: Joo Ji Hoon (Hyena), Park Bo Young (Daily Dose Of Sunshine), Bae Sung Woo (Delayed Justice), Uhm Tae Goo (Hometown), Seolhyun (Kpop group AOA; Summer Strike), Lee Jung Eun (Parasite), Kim Min Ha (Pachinko), Park Hyuk Kwon (Reborn Rich), Kim Dae Myung (Misaeng), Shin Eun Soo (Twinkling Watermelon), Kim Sun Hwa (Behind Your Touch) and Kim Ki Hae (Duty After School).
I’m expecting a brilliant mix of intriguing, tight plot and strong emotional core from Light Shop, which is what I’m seeing in Moving. Light Shop will be directed by actor Kim Hee Won, who played an important role in Moving and has worked in dramas like Awl and Misaeng. This will be his debut project as a director.
Light Shop will premiere sometime later this year.
