August is full of many Korean drama premieres and MBN’s Bad Memory Eraser is the first one to start airing. It premiered yesterday in the slot of Fridays and Saturdays. It’s a romantic comedy starring Kim Jaejoong (Spy) and Jin Se Yeon (Born Again) in the lead roles.
Bad Memory Eraser is about a tennis player, played by Kim Jaejoong, whose promising tennis career gets affected due to an injury, leading to the loss of self-esteem and confidence in him. He goes through a memory erasing process, which is aimed at him forgetting his past and helping him to regain his confidence. In true drama fashion, this would lead to complications and hijinks. Jin Se Yeon plays a neuropsychiatrist who ends up becoming his fabricated first love after the memory manipulation program. Lee Jong Won (Knight Flower) stars as the hero’s brother and the No. 1 tennis player, and Yang Hye Ji (Sweet Home 2) stars as his interpreter.
The drama looks fun and cute, and the plot sounds fresh. Let’s hope it delivers plenty of romance and comedy!
