I love these pictures of Ha Ji Won featured in the June issue of InStyle Korea magazine. Not only are they beautiful, but they are so different from her usual badass image she adorns for films and dramas, especially in recent years. Be it the stuntwoman in fantasy-romance-comedy drama Secret Garden (2011) or the soldier in The King 2 Hearts (2012) or the latest movie The Huntresses, where she plays one of the warriors of Joseon era a la Charlie’s Angels kind of role. I like her in such roles, but it is refreshing to see her in a more feminine and girlish persona in these spreads.
All the pictures are showing her in white, which gives an extra edge to it as white always comes out so graceful for females. And of course it is one of my favorite colors, so I am completely mesmerized by her in the photos. Ha Ji Won will be next seen in the 60 episodic sageuk Hwatu, the follow-up drama for Goddess Of Fire Jung-yi. Yes, it is yet another addition to the year of historical dramas deluge and that too on MBC, which is already airing Gu Family Book right now. She will be playing the role of Empress Ki, and will focus on her turbulent life.
As for the pictures, she looks so innocent and beautiful and cute. Love.
This is the no plastic face I truely admire…the natural beautiful Ha Ji Won
