We keep hearing breaking news left and right. Some are related to film and television world and this one surely takes the cake! As unexpected as seeing a fifth ace in a deck of cards. Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo are getting married! They met on the sets of their mega hit drama Descendants Of The Sun back in 2015. The drama was fully pre-produced and aired from February to April in 2016, becoming one of the most popular and successful shows of all time. We all knew they were good friends and tabloids were full of rumours about them dating. Finally, the couple informed through their agencies that they are getting married on October 31.

I only saw two episodes of Descendants Of The Sun, so can’t comment on their reel life chemistry. But I’m so happy for them. I like both the actors individually, and this news is indeed a pleasant surprise. I can only imagine how rejoiced their shippers would be now. Congratulations to the lovely couple!

Career wise, Song Joong Ki is currently considering next drama from Signal writer, called Kingdom which would be a zombie thriller set in historical times. His movie Battleship Island is also releasing this month. Song Hye Kyo has been offered a movie titled Go Back Home, a film detailing the tragic life of comfort women during the Japanese occupation of Korea.
