I really like So Ji Sub, having seen his handsomeness and comedy chops in Master’s Sun and Oh My Venus. The actor is making a small screen comeback with new MBC drama Terius Behind Me after three years. It is a spy comedy where he plays, well, a spy (natch). But the story sounds pretty interesting. He plays a former black ops agent who gets involved with a neighbour, a middle-aged woman, as the two get connected with solving a large-scale conspiracy. Jung In Sun is a surprise casting for me as I never heard of her before this (it is also because I watched very few dramas in recent months) and this will be her first leading role after playing supporting ones in Circle, Laughter In Waikiki and Wild Chives and Soy Bean Soup: 12 Years Reunion. She plays the neighbour and our heroine, a single mother of two. Then we have Sohn Ho Joon (Go Back Spouses) as the head of a luxury brand and Im Se Mi (About Time, Shopping King Louise) as a National Intelligence Service agent.

I’m hoping for fun, romance, laughs with the odd combination of a spy and a single mother, and some pinch of thrill to make it perfect. I’m also happy that it comes from the writer of uber cute drama Shopping King Louise.

Terius Behind Me is also going by the title My Secret Terrius and it starts airing from September 27 in the Wednesday-Thursday slot.
