I’m always amazed to see Jang Na Ra‘s prolific filmography. She has consistently given us dramas every year and wow, she looks so young and radiant even now, after nearly 20 years since her debut. Many people loved her portrayal in last year’s Oh My Baby and now the actress has signed on her next drama, Daebak Real Estate. CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa has been confirmed to star opposite her.

Daebak Real Estate stars Jang Na Ra as the head of a real estate firm called Daebak. Her character is also an exorcist, the ability inherited from her mother. The show is about the real estate agents who exorcise ghosts and evil auras from the residential properties. Jung Yong Hwa will play a conman who doesn’t believe in ghosts but disguises as an exorcist in order to earn money by fooling people who are afraid of evil spirits.

The plot sounds interesting with a mix of horror and comedy, and of course romance. Something along the lines of Master’s Sun and Hotel Del Luna. I have a fondness for Jung Yong Hwa since You’re Beautiful and You’ve Fallen For Me and later I was also impressed by his performance in The Three Musketeers. His last drama was 2017’s The Package.

Daebak Real Estate will be aired on KBS as a Wednesday-Thursday drama sometime in the first half of 2021.
