Well this is a surprise casting. I loved Ahn Eun Jin in Hospital Playlist (she played the cute resident Choo Min Ha), so I’m happy to see her in a leading role in upcoming JTBC drama Only One Person (also, Just One Person). The drama costars Park Sung Hoon (Into The Ring) and Kpop group Red Velvet‘s Joy (The Liar And His Lover).
Only One Person stars Ahn Eun Jin as a terminally ill woman who, due to a murder case, comes in contact with a police inspector who has led a difficult life. Joy plays an influencer. Park Sung Hoon was last seen in cancelled sageuk Joseon Exorcist while Joy appeared in Tempted back in 2018.
The plot doesn’t sound exactly interesting but it’s JTBC which gives me hope for some quality content. Plus, the drama is being penned by the writer of Matrimonial Chaos (2018) which gained good reviews. The direction is by the PD of Find Me In Your Memory and Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo.
Only One Person is slated for a December premiere.
