I’m as keen as mustard for new JTBC fantasy rom-com Destined With You. Reasons — the lovely cast and the compelling plot. It is about a lawyer who is bound by a centuries old curse and a civil servant who can set him free with the help of a forbidden book that was sealed 300 years ago. Main leads are played by Rowoon (Tomorrow) and Jo Bo Ah (Tale Of The Nine Tailed). The main leads also have a 300 years old previous life connection. The past connection trope works here as it’s a history related fantasy story.

The second leads include K-pop group Girl’s Day‘s Yura as an interior designer and main lead’s girlfriend, and Ha Joon (Bad Prosecutor) as an aide at City Hall who is the female lead’s crush.

Destined With You is penned by the writer of 100 Days My Prince (2018) which was well received. The Kdrama is also airing on Netflix. Yay!
