Oh this sounds exciting! One of my all time favorite Korean dramas, Hospital Playlist, is getting a spin-off called Someday Wise Resident Life and it will be created by the same team of PD Shin Won Ho and writer Lee Woo Jung, who have also created the extolled Reply series. A Life Of A Resident That Will Be Wise Someday is another title of the spin-off (that was some mouthful). It has confirmed Go Yoon Jung as the main lead.

The first thing that comes to mind when I hear Go Yoon Jung is how gorgeous she is. But the actor has proved her talent in acting in shows like Alchemy of Souls, Law School and latest Moving.

Someday Wise Resident Life centers around the Jongro branch of Yulje Medical Center, which was the prime location for first two seasons of Hospital Playlist. Go Yoon Jung plays first-year Obstetrics and Gynecology resident. Shin Si Ah (of The Witch: Part 2. The Other One fame) has been confirmed for the role of another first-year OB-GYN resident. Like the original, Someday Wise Resident Life will be about the realistic and relatable depiction of lives and relationships of the doctors working in the hospital. Basically, a slice-of-life story set in the medical world.

The drama is set to air in the first half of 2024 on tvN.
