‘Heirs’ Episode 11 preview

heirs (2) Finally!! Episode 10 of Heirs ended with no preview and left us wondering what’s in store for next week. But the preview for episode 11 is out, much to the delight of all the fans of the show, which includes me of course. There were also some spoilers regarding upcoming story line but I read them with a grain of salt. I know Heirs has very little plot. It just has lots of characters and every episode just takes a very small step ahead in terms of narrative. I’m having a whale of a time watching it which is obvious as I’m totally biased regarding Heirs (an exception for me as I hardly attach drama attraction to my favorites. Example: Gu Family Book, Personal TasteΒ which I didn’t like and couldn’t continue inspite of my love for male leads) Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye are my favorites and I’m invested in Tan-Eun Sang couple from day 1. I love everything about them but I really want the drama to be more like a romantic comedy rather than taking a melodramatic tone. The first few episodes were cool but now Eun Sang remains sad for almost each of her scene. I can understand her plight but please show, let her smile. I don’t think that Tan’s character has changed much from what it started. He is still the same sweet guy but has opened up more to his surroundings. And most of his dominating behaviours are more like reactions rather than intentional as he remains quite simple for rest of the time. I do understand the reason for Young Do being a jerk but the show has not made me feel that he has heart beneath his crazy outward behaviour. Anyway, I would love to see him change for better but there is no way he has a chance for Eun Sang’s love as she already loves Kim Tan.

My OTP aside, I also love the funny shenanigans from rest of the characters and Kang Ha Neul is so terrific, even when he gets so little time. This is the first time I’m seeing him and I’m loving him so much!!

Half time has already passed and one can only cross fingers with hope that Heirs will be light, funny, romantic for rest of its span and please, no tearjerking moments!!! And yes, let Eun Sang be more confident and strong.

…oh…i just wish the 11th preview has an Eng. subbed but thank you for a brief summary….Heirs has 20 episodes and half of that series had been watched…i have to agree with you that Tan’s character never change as well as Eun-Sang’s …so i think one of the shortcomings for many stars in a drama is how to flesh-out the best in each character….we’ve just seen bits of each character…as for Young Do, Woobie is good portraying the bad-ass image but his character is still jaded as well..so i don’t know how the 10 episodes more of this drama will improve….hope this one is not gonna end up with hanging story-line.

I know right! 10 eps are done and we have very little plot…just characters…and as the hero is already a kind of good guy…no change there…but I still like and enjoy the show… πŸ™‚

Actually I liked last week’s episodes despite the fact that I wanna smack Young Do.
The preview looks interesting and I have a feeling the issues Tan has with his family will take a primary role from now on..
And I still adore Tan and Eun Sang. All their scenes together even though they were mostly sad and you know reality-filled, I still like them.
    Let’s see what happens.. πŸ™‚

Aww….I’m so glad brightfotini that you still like Tan-ES…not that there is lack of KT-ES shippers but some of my other blogger friends are finding them a bit boring 😦

I do hope that we’ll get funny and romantic scenes between the two in upcoming episodes πŸ™‚

I’m completely entertained by Heirs…don’t think I felt bored in any scene while watching it….

Well yes you’re not alone! I still find them interesting and funny and adorable.. Even though as I said they are not on their happiest at the moment I still like seeing their scenes together.
For me they are the calm moment of the episodes. Well not exactly calm considering their situation, what I mean is that when they are together I have the feeling that they’re finding a way to “escape” their problems..
I’m also still entertained by Heirs and I don’t find it boring..
Hopefully we are not the only ones.. Haha.. πŸ™‚

Only at Dramabeans comment section, I find lots of haters whereas everywhere else there are plenty of lovers of Heirs as well as Tan-ES pair….also, the ratings are increasing each week…so yay for the cast and crew…
