New thriller drama A Bloody Lucky Day has all the factors for me to be interested in it. The cast, the plot and the length. The synopsis does sound like 2004 Hollywood movie Collateral that starred Tom Cruise and Jamie Foxx.

Lee Sung Min (Reborn Rich) plays a taxi driver who is offered 1 million won by a passenger in order to help him reach Mokpo on the same day. He is unaware that the passenger, played by Yoo Yeon Seok (The Interest Of Love), is actually a serial killer who is trying to reach the port city in order to run away after committing a murder. Meanwhile, Lee Jung Eun (Parasite) plays the mother of the man who he killed and she is trying to chase him.

The drama seems to have huge potential to provide thrills and chills. It is helmed by Pil Gam Sung, who has written and directed 2021 movie Hostage: Missing Celebrity. Part 1 of A Bloody Lucky Day (consisting of 6 episodes) premieres on tvN on November 20 in the slot of Mondays and Tuesdays and it will stream on TVING from November 24 on Fridays and Saturdays. The series is based on a 2020 webtoon.
