Disney+ is premiering a new Korean drama titled A Shop for Killers (aka The Killer’s Shopping Mall) today. It is based on the novel The Killer’s Shopping Mall. Another book by the same writer has been adopted into drama The Killer’s Shopping List that aired in 2022. The new show revolves around a suspicious shopping mall (natch).

Kim Hye Joon (Inspector Koo, Kingdom) plays a woman who lost her parents during childhood. She is brought up by her uncle, played by Lee Dong Wook (My Girl, Tale of the Nine-Tailed). Her uncle dies unexpectedly and she receives inheritance in the form of a mysterious shopping mall that he used to run. She also becomes the target of highly skilled killers.

The cast includes Park Ji Bin (Blind) as her classmate who has exceptional hacking skills, Geum Hae Na (Run On) as an S-class killer, Kim Min (High Cookie) as her Muay Thai teacher and a longtime associate of her uncle, Seo Hyun Woo (Behind Every Star) as a cold-blooded sniper and Jo Han Sun (She Knows Everything) as an intimidating and notorious villain.

A Shop for Killers will have a total of 8 episodes and it premieres today, i.e. January 17.
