Ready for a pulsating thrilling show? Netflix is bringing mystery thriller The Bequeathed this Friday and I’m surely tuning in because it sounds so intriguing.
The Bequeathed is about a woman, played by Kim Hyun Joo (Trolley), who inherits a burial ground after the death of an unknown uncle. Consequently, she finds herself surrounded by a string of murders and dark secrets. Park Hee Soon (Moving) stars as a detective who investigates these strange happenings. Park Byung Eun (Eve) plays his junior, a squad chief who dislikes him due to some past incidence. Ryu Kyung Soo (Tale Of The Nine Tailed 1938) stars as female lead’s half-brother.
The combination of an interesting plot and a solid cast already made me interested, but the drama also has a strong writing department. Screenwriter Yeon Sang Ho has penned shows like Hellbound and The Cursed, and has directed movies like blockbuster Train To Busan (2016).
The Bequeathed will have a total of 6 episodes and it starts on January 19.
