Kang Ha Neul (When The Camellia Blooms) has confirmed a thriller movie as his next project. It is titled Wall To Wall and also stars Yeom Hye Ran and Seo Hyun Woo. It is a Netflix film.

The plot sounds intriguing — Kang Ha Neul plays a man who is an ordinary office worker. He succeeds in buying his own house. It was his lifelong dream and he uses all his savings, stocks and loans to achieve it. He is now struggling with the high interest loans. On top of it, he starts hearing unidentifiable noise from neighboring floors that leads to conflicts with his neighbors.

Seo Hyun Woo (Adamas) stars as his upstairs neighbor who teams up with him to find out the source of the mysterious noise. Yeom Hye Ran (The Glory) plays the representative of the apartment’s residents.

Wall To Wall is anchored by director Kim Tae Joon (Unlocked). Apartment thrillers are nothing new — Kdrama Strangers From Hell (2019) is a recent example that comes to mind — but they are not as abundant. In any case, it is an interesting trope that mixes thrills with the mundane.
