This new project sounds exciting! Han So Hee and Jeon Jong Seo have been confirmed for new thriller Korean drama Project Y. It’s a thriller about two friends who plan to steal 8 billion won worth of gold bars and vanish without a trace. The show will be set in Seoul’s Gangnam district.

It will be directed by film director Lee Hwan, who has made movies like Park Hwa Young (2018) and Young Adult Matters (2021) in the past. The filming is slated to start sometime in the second half of 2024; other details about the drama are yet to be provided.

Han So Hee was last seen in Netflix drama Gyeongseong Creature, meanwhile Jeon Jong Seo recently wrapped rom-com drama Wedding Impossible.

The plot of Project Y isn’t anything new, but it’s a setting with plenty of potential to mine for a tense, thrilling ride.
