If daily dramas are your thing, there is a new one on MBC that’s premiering tomorrow — The Brave Yong Soo Jung. It is penned by the writer of Blessing Of The Sea (2019).

Uhm Hyun Kyung (Defendant) stars as titular Yong Soo Jung, a home shopping host who has an easygoing and charming personality, and a huge fan base. In her personal romantic life, she is someone who is unable to express her feelings if she likes a man. She has an unrequited crush on the successor of Ma Sung Group, played by Kwon Hwa Woon (Mouse). Suh Joon Young (The Devil Judge) plays a hard working man from economically poor background, who lives with his intellectually disabled mother. One day he finds out that he is the second grandson of the Ma Sung Group. Im Joo Eun (Uncontrollably Fond) rounds out the cast, starring as a selfish and greedy woman.

The story looks like it is going to be full of melodrama and over-the-top tropes and stereotypical daily soap characters. But daily dramas can also be addictive and fun.

The Brave Yong Soo Jung will air from Monday to Friday and will have an episode count of about 120 episodes.
