Polaris is surely going to become one of the most awaited dramas. It marks the return of Kang Dong Won to small screen after 20 years! His last drama was 2004’s Magic. The actor has been doing only movies for past many years — some of his popular films are Temptation Of Wolves (2004), Jeon Woo-chi: The Taoist Wizard (2009), Secret Reunion (2010) and Kundo: Age of the Rampant (2014) to name a few.

The costarring actors also make me excited for this project — Jeon Ji Hyun (You Who Came From The Stars) and Oh Jung Se (It’s Okay To Not Be Okay). Also, the writer-PD team created Little Women (2022) — a show that I really liked.

Polaris is a romance drama about spies who have lost their identities and how they try to rediscover themselves. The synopsis doesn’t tell us much but the above many factors are enough to click my excitement buttons.

The drama is currently filming. For now we’ll just have to wait for more information!
