Park Shin Hye has another drama to premiere in 2024 after the rom-com Doctor Slump that aired in early part of the year. It’s a fantasy rom-com titled The Judge From Hell and stars Kim Jae Young (Love In Contract) as her costar. The show is about a demon from hell who enters the body of a judge. Her job is to punish evildoers who have managed to evade justice by abusing the law.
Park Shin Hye stars as the titular demon/judge. After meeting a compassionate and dedicated detective, played by Kim Jae Young, she begins the path of becoming a true judge.
The plot sounds exciting, the cast looks good and I’m also looking forward to the reunion of Park Shin Hye and Kim In Kwon, who played her manager in 2009 drama You’re Beautiful (one of my most favorite dramas ever). Here he plays the role of her aide, along with Kim Ah Young (Welcome To Samdalri) who also plays her assistant.
The Judge From Hell also stars Lee Kyu Han (Que Sera Sera), Lee Mi Do (18 Again) and Kim Hye Hwa (No Gain No Love) in supporting roles.
Shin Sung Rok (Kairos) and Oh Na Ra (Alchemy Of Souls) will be having guest appearance in the premiere episode. They will play powerful demons.
The Judge From Hell will air on SBS in the slot of Fridays and Saturdays. It will also stream on Disney+ in selected regions.
