I’m keen to check out the new MBC drama Motel California despite its overdone premise of ‘exes to lovers’. The reason — it stars charming Lee Se Young and I’m liking the general vibe. The drama is based on a 2019 novel Home, Bitter Home by writer Shim Yun Seo. The screen adaptation is penned by the screenwriter of dramas 365: Repeat The Year (2020) and Swallow The Sun (2009). MBC is bringing a rom-com titled Motel California and it stars one of my favorites Lee Se Young (The Story Of Park’s Marriage Contract) opposite Na In Woo, who I really liked in Marry My Husband. The show is set in a rural area and is based on a 2019 novel Home, Bitter Home.
