Nine or Nine: Nine Time Travels is premiering today on tvN. It stars Lee Jin Wook and Jo Yoon Hee in the lead roles. I haven’t seen any of the leads’ previous works, but I’m definitely checking out this new time travel show, as it’s by the team that made the sweet and thrilling Queen in Hyun’s Man. I have liked Gong Yoo ever since I watched Coffee Prince. But then, who doesn’t? His charms led me to his next drama, Hello My Teacher, where he played a high school student. Last year gave us many melodramas like Nice Guy, I Miss You, Equator Man, etc. that graced our computer screens. This year the tear-jerker and serious genre kick started with That Winter, The Wind Blows; which is gaining many favorable reviews. And now another melodrama is in the making called When A Man Loves, which stars Song Seung Heon (Dr. Jin) in the main lead role. Continue reading

That Winter, The Wind Blows is really gaining good reviews. It’s a melodrama, which I wasn’t planning to watch before (because the story was not exactly my cup of tea), but after hearing so much praise and appreciation, I guess I’m gonna watch it. Recently, the magazine High Cut featured the behind-the-scene pictures from the drama, giving us a happy vibe, quite contrary to the show, which of course is intense and serious. Continue reading
