More casting news for highly anticipated Hong Sisters‘ next drama Master’s Sun. Seo in Guk has joined the show that has already cast So Ji Sub (Ghost) and Gong Hyo Jin (in her second drama with the writers after Best Love). He was so adorable and sweet in Answer Me 1997 and gave a stellar performance. His next show Rascals Son did not garner much hype or ratings, but now he will be seen in this much awaited show that stars Gong Hyo Jin as a secretary who suddenly starts seeing ghosts and So Ji Sub as the individualistic and selfish boss. Both of them work in a shopping mall and Seo In Guk is the head of its security department. I can’t really picture that as he has got that calm and cute persona, but the show will feature him as tough and responsible guy who served in the Zaytun Division of the South Korean Army during the Iraq war. I don’t know why this description is required, but may be it will have something to do with the main storyline that includes fantasy elements (or rather scary!)
Master’s Sun is touted as the horror romantic-comedy and will be helmed by the PD of Shining Inheritance and City Hunter. It will premiere in August on SBS. Hong Sisters are my favorite writers and their dramas are my go-to dramas (minus Big, well, we all know that even if I don’t mention it, right?) This show is full of superb and fresh cast and I can’t wait to watch it!!

I have not seen any of So Ji Sub’s dramas yet….but I’ve heard that they are mostly serious roles….so it will be fun to see him in a comic role….and Seo In Guk is really adorable….can’t wait for it!!
