So many promotional materials of upcoming dramas are pouring in from all sides and I hope I will not get tired of them even before the drama airs. To avoid confusion, I have made this handy list of dramas that are premiering in the coming weeks.
Who Are You
On: tvN
Date: 29-July-2013
Stars: So Yi Hyun, Taecyeon, Kim Jae Wook
About: A woman who wakes up from coma after six years and finds that she can see ghosts. She is a detective, who is then assigned lost and found department where she starts solving cases of spirits so that they can rest in peace. Taecyeon is her fellow detective and Kim Jae Wook is her ex-boyfriend who died in an accident.
My Opinion: I’m not too excited for this as the drama looks kind of serious. Also, I’m not a fan of the cast.
Good Doctor
On: KBS
Date: 5-August-2013
Stars: Joo Won, Joo Sang Wook, Moon Chae Won, Kwak Do Won, Kim Min Seo
About: Joo Won stars as a genius doctor suffering from autism.
My Opinion: I like the heartwarming vibe I’m getting from the promos.
Master’s Sun
On: SBS
Date: 7-August-2012
Stars: So Ji Sub, Gong Hyo Jin, Seo In Guk
About: Romantic comedy about a cold CEO and his sensitive assistant who can see ghosts.
My Opinion: I love the cast and this drama is written by my favorite Hong Sisters. Definitely a must watch for me.
Two Weeks
On: MBC
Date: 7-August-2012
Stars: Lee Jun Ki, Kim So Yeon, Song Jae Rim, Park Ha Sun
About: A man on the run as he is falsely accused of murder. He has to save his daughter who is suffering from leukaemia. Whole drama will have a time frame of two weeks.
My Opinion: I like this premise and the cast. I’m tuning in for sure.
Her Legend
On: JTBC
Date: 5-August-2012
Stars: Kim Jung Hoon, Choi Jung Won, Son Eun Seo
About: Two women with swapped fates and a chaebol prince who has everything.
My Opinion: Sounds very clichéd.

Well, I’m on board for Master’s Sun and Who Are You coz I’m totally into ghosts at the moment. Am iffy about medical dramas and I dunno if Two Weeks is my cup of tea right now. Thanks for news about Her Legend, haven’t heard about it and yes, it does sound totally lame!

Hi! My first time commenting here. I really like your blog! I’m looking forward to Master’s Sun and Two Weeks, the latter especially because I’ve always like Lee Junki’s shows. The premise sounds really interesting too, so hopefully it will be at least as good as 49 Days, which also had a countdown as part of the story. Medical dramas are not my cup of tea but Joo Won’s performance in the teasers for Good Doctor was impressive, so I might watch if reviews are good 🙂
