See what I told you about 2014 being the year of reunions. After My Girl (Lee Dong Wook – Lee Da Hae) and  Successful Story Of A Bright Girl (Jang Hyuk – Jang Nara), it is time for the reunion of 2007’s action-thriller drama Time Between Dog And Wolf couple— Lee Jun Ki and Nam Sang Mi. They are appearing together in upcoming sageuk Joseon Gunman with Lee Jun Ki confirming earlier but we have finally got the confirmations for Nam Sang Mi as well. I’m actually in high spirits with the kick-starting of this new trend because as far as Kdramas are concerned, it always made me sad that drama pairs hardly acted together again. Thus, it is definitely a welcome thing in my book. (*I’m still waiting for the Delightful Girl Choon Hyang reunion*)

Joseon Gunman is basically a revenge saga about a skilled swordsman in the 19th century Joseon who replaces swords with guns in his quest for revenge against those who caused death of his father and sister. He also becomes a hero figure in the process. Nam Sang Mi will join the cast as a tough and strong-willed woman who was initially brought up in a sheltered environment. Joseon Gunam is being created by the PD of The Princess’ Man, another historical show that received lots of love, critical praise and awards. And that makes the expectations sky high with this show.

Although I haven’t seen Time Between Dog And Wolf, I’m sure the fans of the series would be on cloud nine because of the OTP reunion. If anyone of you have seen the show, do share about the chemistry between the two leads. I’m excited for this so I want an idea about what to expect (or not?) Nam Sang Mi was last seen in weekender Goddess Of Marriage, which left bad taste in everyone’s mouth I guess.

Joseon Gunman will take the baton from another revenge-themed show Golden Cross and will start airing from June 18 on KBS.
