Hey guys…it has been a while since I posted something under this segment. I’ll be travelling a bit in the coming week and hence, blogging will have to take a back seat for a few days. I hope to settle down soon and continue watching dramas and writing about them. But I can’t say exactly when I’ll be back to regular blogging. Let’s hope sooner than later.
So what’s going on in my drama world:
- I’m totally enjoying Girl Who Sees Smells. It’s like my love is increasing more and more with each episode. There are flaws and all, but the cute factor overshadows all the hiccups and what we get is an adorable couple paired with interesting mystery in plot and lots and lots of cuteness.
- I also started Falling For Innocence. I’ve seen only episode 1 and I can’t say I liked it. There was too much business and revenge talk and less of the elements I wanted to see. But I really liked Jin Goo and Yoon Hyun Min and I just want things to smooth down a bit. I felt a little unevenness.
- I’m also enjoying season 3 of The O.C. Folks have warned me that the show becomes a mess after 2 seasons but so far I’m liking it.
- I haven’t seen any new movie recently but I’m planning to watch The Avengers: Age of Ultron.
- Lastly, I can’t wait to watch Divorce Lawyer In Love, which premieres on 18th of this month.
Till then!
GWSS is ok, though still nothing too riveting. Chunnie is pretty adorable though, I just love his deadpan expressions, ha. And I have this totally uncontrollable urge to pinch his cheeks. XD Still not sure I’m going to follow this through but It’s on the roster for the time being.
The 1st ep of Falling for Innocense was rather all over the place but I’m glad to say it seems to be getting it’s act together now. I quite liked the episodes this weekend.
None of the upcoming kdramas have truly piqued my interest but there are a couple jdramas starting round about now that I’m planing on checking out.
Have a nice trip, whether it’s for pleasure or business.
OMG! I have the same urge to pinch his cheeks, which never happened before when I watched him. But he is so darn adorable here and it is the first time that I want to pinch an actor’s cheeks…hahaha…I was hesitant to admit it but yay, now I have company 😛
That’s a relief that FFI gets better after the weird 1st ep….need to check it out soon.
I haven’t seen any Jdrama except Rich Man Poor woman…have you seen it?
Thanks for the wishes….it’s for my internship. So basically an academic trip…hehe 😀
Well, we are definitely not the only ones eyeing Chunnie’s cheeks, I’ve seen more than a few people mention the shame urge. XD
As for FFI… I think it’s better to have an iffy 1-2 episodes than start out great only to become flat half way through or go spectacularly off the rails in the end. There’s been quite a few of those lately. On of my fave dramas (Ghost) had a really lacklustre first ep only to pick up from the 2nd onwards. It was the ending of ep 2 actually that got me fully onboard. 🙂
My jdrama watching is pretty spotty as they have always been sort of hit and miss for me. I have to say thought that the older jdramas were a lot better in terms of content. There was much more diversity. Now it seems like the only genres around are crime shows or school dramas. Crime shows are my bread and butter but even I get bored with too much of the same thing. That said, I just watched one (Kageri Yuku Natsu) which was pretty good for a change. I’ve seen about half of Rich Man Poor Woman. I lost interest so I never finished it.
Thanks for reminding me about Ghost! I really want to watch it. So true about J-dramas. The only ones I read about are either procedurals or high school based. I have some more in my plan like Pride and Buzzer Beat…have you seen them? Verdict?
I loved RMPW…the leads were so good. Oguri Shun showed so much awesomeness in a simple rom-com while the female lead is ADORABLE! It did have some flaws here and there but overall, it was a great ride for me. It helped that no. of eps were so less!
Gost wasn’t without flaws either but I just loved it to a scary degree while it aired, ha. I’ve got a whole post full of squee dedicated to it too. It shouldn’t be spoilery – in case you want to take a peek.^^
Pride was probably my first jdrama and I still think fondly of it. It has a few features that can make people grumpy but how annoying they get depends on your tolerance and take on them. It’s a classic and Kimura is pretty hot, so… I don’t regret watching it, in fact I’ve re-watched parts of it a few times. Buzzer Beat was not my thing at all so I’ve only skimmed through the first few epis. Not a big fan of Yamapi.
Heh, now it is your turn to be on hiatus. It’s okay to be free of dramas… You feel as liberated as I was in the past 3 weeks.
I know! But the thing is…I was already watching very less dramas from past few weeks and so I wanted to watch more this time…But yeah…break helps one to enjoy things outside dramaland 🙂
Awwww, do you have anything store in your laptop? Maybe that could help with your cravings.
Oh yes….I never fail to carry my treasure…hehe…I hope that I’ll get time (and strength) to watch them after my work at office. But you give me motivation! Juggling family, work and SO MANY dramas…wow 😉
Heh, you just know how and when to prioritize them 😉
Falling for innocence started really well. Watch it until the third epi at least, the first two episodes are only dramatic, and it lightens up a bit afterwards. There’s comedy too in it, I’m sure you won’t regret!
Hee. I watched all 4 episodes and finally I’m happy with it! Thankfully the funny bits are great and now we are onto the main story. I like that we have moved pretty fast to the point where both are making connections with respect to his weird actions.
So glad you like it !!! 😀
Hey Snow, I just nominated you for the “sisterhood of the world bloggers award” : https://kdramaendings.wordpress.com/2015/04/14/sisterhood-of-the-world-bloggers-award/
Thanks Blue. I’ll make sure to answer them pretty soon! 🙂
