Finally we can be assured that Goodbye Mr. Black is actually happening. After having some initial troubles regarding the broadcast, the new revenge melodrama is gaining momentum in its production and the cast attended the script reading a few days back. Lee Jin Wook, Moon Chae Won, Kim Kang Woo, Yoo In Young, Daniel Henney and Song Jae Rim star in this drama based loosely on The Count of Monte Cristo where a man goes on a revenge path after he gets betrayed by his friend. I don’t see Daniel Henney in the table read pics but I do see a new hairdo for Moon Chae Won. I’m not sure if I like it but hopefully it will grow on me as I watch the show itself. Yay that Yoo In Young is back with long hair (I didn’t like her hairstyle in Oh My Venus at all!) I can also spot a lot of veteran supporting actors. Aside from the fact that I’m anticipating an intriguing revenge saga, I like the whole cast ensemble of main actors.
Goodbye Mr. Black will air on MBC in March in the time slot of Wednesday-Thursday as it follows just started rom-com One More Happy Ending. It will mark Moon Chae Won’s return to small screen after 3 years (she did Good Doctor in 2013) and Daniel Henney returns after 6 years (he did Fugitive Plan B in 2010).
I’m really looking forward to Moon ChaeWon’s return, I really enjoyed her in Princess’ Man and Good Doctor~
I have seen her in only Nice Guy and Shining Inheritance…but really liked her in them…her acting is amazing!
