Goblin, Gong Yoo, Kdrama, Kim Go Eun, Korean drama, Lee Dong Wook, The Lonely Shining Goblin, Yoo In Na
After Legend Of The Blue Sea, there is one more premiere left that has the tag of “one of the most anticipated dramas of 2016” — The Lonely Shining Goblin or simply Goblin. Despite not being a fan of the writer’s dramas, I’m looking forward to this one as it has Gong Yoo! I said the same for Descendants Of The Sun (Song Joong Ki!) and Uncontrollably Fond (Kim Woo Bin!) but ended up dropping them so soon. But hope is a good thing and I have enjoyed some parts of Secret Garden and Heirs, so yeah, I can hope for the best. Plus, it looks like Goblin will have a good dose of bromance for us, which is always a great thing in my book. I also like the female leads Kim Go Eun and Yoo In Na. And last but not the least, it’s tvN.
The Lonely Shining Goblin is a fantasy romantic comedy where Gong Yoo plays the goblin, Lee Dong Wook plays grim reaper, Kim Go Eun takes up the role of a high school student, Yoo In Na plays a chicken shop owner and Yook Sung Jae stars as a chaebol belonging to the family that has taken care of the goblin from many years.
One thing I love about Kim Eun Sook dramas is that there is always more than one love line. Also, the feel good factor. The Lonely Shining Goblin is all set to start next week as the new Friday-Saturday drama. I love the poster featuring the main couple — so simple, sweet and carefree.
