Boyfriend is definitely one of the most anticipated dramas this year. It stars two of the most popular stars of dramaverse and their respective comebacks after 2 years. Song Hye Kyo did megahit Descendants Of The Sun and Park Bo Gum also gave a hit, Moonlight Drawn By Clouds in 2016. He is the reason I’m most excited for as he totally won my heart in shows like Answer Me 1988 , I Remember You and the above mentioned sageuk. I like Song Hye Kyo a lot, just not a huge fan.I like that the drama is exploring the idea of romance between two people beyond the usual as Song Hye Kyo plays a divorcee who is the daughter of a politician and was into arranged marriage with a rich man. Park Bo Gum plays an ordinary and optimistic man who lives life to the fullest, as opposed to our heroine, who has never lived a moment for herself. The drama will explore their relationship as she learns to find happiness and her own being.

I’m not a fan of long hair for men but Park Bo Gum looks adorable in the first script reading pictures that have been released. He reminds me of Won Bin’s hairstyle I saw a few days back. Are we going to have two main characters with same length of hair! ~LOL~The show also stars Go Chang Seok (Ad Genius Lee Tae Baek, The Miracle We Met) as Song Hye Kyo’s chauffeur and loyal friend (oh I’m excited about this relationship!) and Kwak Sun Young (Your Honor) as her assistant.

Boyfriend is starting from November on tvN, following just started melodrama Hundred Million Stars From the Sky. It is directed by the PD of Jealousy Incarnate and Ghost, and penned by the scriptwriter of Entertainer and movies My Annoying Brother, No Breathing and The Royal Tailor.
