Finally!!! This surely calls for a happy dance! Kim Jae Wook will finally grace our screens as a romantic comedy leading man! He has confirmed upcoming tvN drama Her Private Life opposite Park Min Young. He was last seen in acclaimed thriller The Guest and has been giving powerful performances in various dramas from many years (Coffee Prince, Voice, Mary Stayed Out All Nigh, Who Are You) but never playing the main lead. This factor alone adds high excitement for this show. Plus, I always find Park Min Young charming and she was fabulous in her last show What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim. I also like the plot of Her Private Life, based on a webtoon Noona Fan Dot Com — fun and light-hearted!

Park Min Young plays an art gallery curator who is efficient in her work but she is also a secret fangirl of a pop idol Shi An and also runs a fansite for him. Kim Jae Wook stars as the new director of the art gallery who becomes interested in her after finding out about her obsession. The costars include Ahn Bo Hyun (Descendants Of The Sun) as heroine’s childhood friend, Kim Bo Ra (SKY Castle) as daughter of art gallery president and also a fansite master, rapper ONE (Hwayugi) as the idol Shi An, cute Park Jin Joo (Sunny, Boyfriend) as our heroine’s best friend and Hong Seo Young (The Liar And His Lover) as a media artist and old classmate of our hero.

Her Private Life will be helmed by the PD of shows like Dear My Friends and Life. It starts airing from April as follow up drama to currently airing Touch Your Heart.
