The new daily drama on SBS, Shady Mom-in-Law, seems like a motley of a variety of genres — romance, melodrama, comedy, family. It is a story about a fashion designer, played by Shin Da Eun (Backflow, You Are Too Much, Nice Guy), who falls in love with a man from a wealthy family, played by Park Jin Woo (Man Who Sets the Table). Kim Hye Sun (Bravo My Life, Our Gab Soon) stars as her mother who wants her daughter to get married to another guy, played by Son Woo Hyuk (Kkangchi). I’m not sure who the title is referring to, the heroine’s mom or her mother-in-law. I guess the show needs to be watched to find that out!

One of the two posters for Shady Mom-in-Law looks very funny, and I’m not sure if that was the intention. LOL. Anyway, the drama starts tomorrow and will air from Monday to Friday with an approximate episode count of 100. I’m not really a daily drama fan, but I think this can be an interesting addition for the ones who enjoy this category of dramas.
