Angel’s Last Mission: Love, Do Ji Won, Infinite, KBS, Kim Bo Mi, Kim In Kwon, L, Lee Dong Gun, Shin Hye Sun
Angel’s Last Mission: Love is coming up on KBS this Wednesday and I’m actually looking forward to it for its interesting premise. It is a fantasy romance where INFINITE‘S L plays a carefree angel and Shin Hye Sun stars as a cold ballerina. In order to return to heaven, he is given a mission — to make her fall in love. But well, as all our tales go, he falls for her instead. I really liked Shin Hye Sun in her first leading role in Thirty But Seventeen, so I’m looking forward to see an opposite character from that sugary sweet one. L was last seen in Miss Hammurabi.
The show also stars Lee Dong Gun, whom I’ve only seen in Sweet 18 and a few episodes of Mi Rae’s Choice, but who has been quite active recently with appearing in dramas like Queen For Seven Days, Sketch and Where Stars Land. Here he plays an artistic director who also does not believe in love and does not trust anyone easily. Kim Bo Mi (Assembly, You From Another Star) plays our heroine’s rival as she is also a ballerina. Do Ji Won (Healer) appears as the leader of the ballet troupe and Kim In Kwon (You’re Beautiful, Please Come Back Ajhussi) rounds out the cast as a senior angel.
Angel’s Last Mission: Love comes from the PD of Healer and Neighborhood Lawyer Jo Deul Ho, and the writer of Lucky Romance. It follows medical thriller Doctor Prisoner.
P. S. The posters are gorgeous!
That first poster is so evocatively pretty. I’ll probably give this a go and see how it fits. Romcoms/romances are not really my thing but every once in a while along comes one that I really like. Whether this is one of those, remains to be seen. ☺
