A Moment At Eighteen is the new drama on JTBC premiering today in the slot of Mondays and Tuesdays. I love the youthful and warm, summery vibe it is giving. So refreshing! The show is about the lives of 18 year olds. Nothing new but can definitely be good if done well. The drama tells about the innocence and passion of that age.
Ong Sung Woo is formerly from Kpop group Wanna One and this show is his acting debut. He plays a transfer student who is lonely and finds it difficult to express his emotions. Kim Hyang Gi (The Queen’s Classroom) plays an ambitious student whose life is overly controlled by her mother. Shin Seung Ho, another rookie actor, stars as a perfect role model student with an inferiority complex. Then we have the amazing Kang Ki Young (What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim?), who himself played a high student student few years back in High School King Of Savvy, playing the homeroom teacher who is also new.
A Moment At Eighteen is penned by the writer of All About My Mom and Lingerie Girls’ Generation. I’m really excited to see this show because of the vibe it is going for. Hoping for a lot of heart!
Agree, this looks very youthful and summery. I’m also hoping for a lot of heart with it 🙂
