Melo Is My Nature is the newly premiered drama on JTBC and tells the very common but always welcome trope of three women (and friends) in their 30s navigating through love, relationships, work and life struggles. Chun Woo Hee (Argon) plays a drama writer, Han Ji Eun (100 Days My Prince) plays the head of the marketing department of a production company and Jun Yeo Bin (Live) plays a documentary director.
The male cast members include Ahn Jae Hong (Answer Me 1988) as a famous drama PD who has lost interest in his work and Gong Myung (Feel Good To Die) as a rookie who joins above mentioned marketing department. Melo Is My Nature is also being promoted as Be Melodramatic and Melo Suits Me.
The show just started airing as a Friday-Saturday drama. What I like about such stories is their contemporary and modern nature but at the same time, being relatable in some ways and also fun, with some genuine warm moments. Let’s see how this one delivers!
I quite liked the first two episodes. Itβs kinda quirky in a way that reminds me of jdramas and that is always a plus for me. There arenβt that many dramas about female friendship so I throughly approve. βΊ
I just started ep1 and really liking the quirky vibe! Yes, not a lot of dramas about female friendships but why there is always a group of 3 friends π
