It’s been quite some time since we last saw Park Hae Jin in a drama. It was 2017’s Man To Man. I have seen the actor in only one show till date, You From Another Star and in few episodes of Cheese In The Trap. Recently, Forest has premiered on KBS with him in the lead, along with Jo Bo Ah, who appeared in My Strange Hero last year. The show looks a bit mysterious in terms of its plot. I’m not able to make up my mind if it is a romance, fantasy or mystery. But color me intrigued.
Park Hae Jin plays a successful businessman who has forgotten his past and has some hidden pain. Jo Bo Ah stars as a surgeon with a heart. They both meet in the titular mysterious forest and fall in love. The drama started on January 31 in the slot of Wednesday & Thursday.
Forest is being directed by the PD of Hello My Teacher, Dae Mul and Twelve Men in a Year. It’s penned by the writer of 2004’s Snow White. The posters look beautiful and mystical. And I’m happy with a new setting other than Seoul, which we are seeing a lot recently. Case in point: When The Camellia Blooms, Crash Landing On You and Chocolate.
